Owl House was started in 2017 by Kate Hamel Tucker to bring her love of printmaking to the delta of Louisiana and Mississippi. Kate is currently the only artist, but Owl House is looking for local artists to join the collective. Stay Tuned!

Kate graduated from The University of Virginia in 2006 with degrees in Studio Art and Environmental Science. Her work reflects a passion for the natural world, especially native wildlife, with a nod to folklore. Her carvings have a modern illustrative style that is both approachable and enigmatic.

Kate is a mother of two and prints out of a studio in her home on the bayou. She is available for commissioned works.
